When Dr Garg declined to oblige them they fired shots and injured him. Dr Garg resisted them and his employees and the neighbours also chased the attackers.
In the meanwhile the police also followed. One of the miscreants fell down from the motorcycle and was injured. Other two were caught in village Dhana where SP Attar Singh Ahlawat had also reached. On the call of the Indian Medical Association the doctors had observed strike on June 4 and since then they are avoiding night shifts for reasons of security.
Dr Kuldip Kumar, patron, IMA, Hisar, condemned the incident and demanded full security to the doctors. He said, "In these conditions the doctors can not discharge their duty. It is shocking because it is the second same incident in Hansi".
Dr K C Garg has been brought to Chawla Nursing Home at Hisar for treatment. There is great resentment among the doctors over the attacks on doctors.
